My experience with farming
This weekend, we are looking at the Parable of the Sower and the Seed found in Matthew ch. 13. In preparation for this message, I thought back to my experience with “farming.” Growing up, some of my favorite memories of my Papaw [my Dad's dad] is spending time with him in his garden behind his house. As I thought about sharing that this Saturday, I emailed my mom and asked if she had any pictures I could share of those days. Here’s what I received back.
My Papaw also taught the same Sunday School class in his church, River Oaks United Methodist Church, for 55 years. So I guess I learned a lot more from him than how to help in the garden.
