Back in the saddle

After about two and a half weeks at home with the family following Jack’s birth, I’ve returned to my normal work life. My wife still has some time off at home with Jack, but this has been a week of hitting the “reset” button for me. I really enjoyed being home with the family, and I felt like it was a really important time for me to support Steph but also to spend some extra time with my four year old daughter. Many people have asked how she is handling the new addition and so far, everything has been really great. We were a little concerned about some jealous feelings [which might still occur] but at this point, Anna has been great with her new baby brother.

I’m planning on being back to my normal schedule next week which will include my regular blogging and a return to posting the Friday Playlists Bible study. My apologies for those who have been waiting on that. 

Thanks again for all the prayers, cards, food, and gifts that have come our way in the last several weeks to celebrate Jack. We feel blessed to have him as a part of our lives and certainly give thanks for each of you as well.
