How do you see our city?

This weekend I’ll be continuing our “Walking with Jesus” message series and we’ll be looking at Luke 19:41-44. Jesus is heading into Jerusalem for the final week of his life and pauses on the Mount of Olives to weep for Jerusalem. During Saturday’s message, we’re going to unpack why Jesus is weeping and significance of this picture of Jesus shedding tears over this holy city.

We’ll also be talking about how we see our city and the “posture” we, as people of faith, have towards the thousands we share life with everyday in our community. For most of our church, that’s Mansfield, Texas, USA.

I found this file on the Mansfield website which shares some of the demographic details of life in our community. Saturday, I want us to think about the lives that are behind these facts and figures and ask ourselves, “how do we see our city?
