Back to the Macbook!

Yesterday I made a quick trip over to one of my favorite places in the world… The Apple Store! For several years I was the proud owner of a Macbook computer, the smallest computer in the Apple laptop line. It was a beautifully sleak black Macbook that I really enjoyed, but ended up selling it to a guy who was going to Africa for a year with the Peace corp. [It was a touching story, but I still shouldn't have sold that computer. I really loved it!] Here’s what my old Macbook looked like…

About six months ago, I received a Macbook Pro for my office computer. It was great to get a new unit, but I really didn’t need the larger, more powerful Pro model. So, earlier this week when our Digital Worship team leader and I were discussing the potential of adding a Pro to their stockpile of computing weapons, I decided it was time for me to get what I really need and set my Macbook Pro free for all the graphic/video crunching that it was designed to do.

So I’m back to the mini model… Here’s the new one…

Isn’t she beautiful?
