Romans Session Wrapup

Last night we had our sixth session on the New Testament focused on the book of Romans. We talked about the uniqueness of Romans among Paul’s letter in that with this particular letter, Paul is addressing a community he did not begin nor had he ever visited. Because of that, Romans stands as the most comprehensive presentation of Paul’s understanding of the Gospel. During our session, we reviewed some of the key theological themes which Paul outlines in this letter to the church at Rome.

Here’s the notes and other info. from last night.

It goes without saying that there are many aspects of Christianity that are hard to quantify. In my opinion, Romans provides an understanding of the Holy Spirit that helps quiet the trepidation in the journey of faith. I got a lot out of this week’s session.
