GPS Podcast: ZOE Ministry

Below is the audio for our most recent installment of the GPS podcast. We went in a unique direction for this week’s episode by inviting Teresa Sherwood, the director of our mission ministry to join us and discuss our mission team that is departing for Rwanda this week as well as our ongoing partnership with an organization called ZOE Ministry.

I hope you will take the time to listen to Teresa and Mike as they discuss how our partnership began with ZOE and where we believe that is taking us in the years to come.

For more information about ZOE, please visit www.zoeministry.org.

GPS Podcast | Week Nineteen

Below is the audio for our most recent installment of the GPS podcast which follows our message this past weekend entitled, “I got tire of the church always asking for money.”

This is the first week that we have not had our amazingly talented host, Kevin Selle. Mike and I did the best we could in his absence.

Joining us for this week’s podcast was Randall Canedy, our Finance chair person, to discuss how our church leadership seeks to connect our vision and resources in a way that honors God and each member who so generously gives.

GPS Podcast: Making Mondays Matter II

For our GPS podcast this week, I was excited to have Taylor Davis as my guest.

Taylor helped me preach four of our weekend services this past weekend and shared the entire message at the Well. As I expected, Taylor did a fantastic job speaking from the perspective of a management consultant who has worked with senior leaders, middle managers, and front line workers in his 15 year consulting career. I think you’ll enjoy and be blessed by what Taylor has to share.

By the way, here is the quote I shared at the end of the podcast.

We do not tell a story from memory alone; we do not need to memorize a story that has meaning to us. If it is real, then it is in us. Based on our research, knowledge, and experience, we can tell it from our gut… You can’t fake it. You believe in your story or you do not. And if you do not, no amount of hyped-up, superficial enthusiasm or conviction will ever make your time with an audience meaninguful. If you do not believe it, do not know it to be true, how can you connect and convince others with your words in story form? Your words will be just hollow words. [Presentation Zen, pg. 81]

GPS Podcast: Making Mondays Matter I

For our GPS podcast this week, I was excited to have as our special guest, Teresa Franklin, a counselor at Mary Jo Sheppard Elementary school. Each week of our Making Mondays Matter series, we will be having a different guest for our podcast who will respond to the question, “how does your faith life influence your work life?”

I think you will really enjoy and be blessed by what Teresa shared this week! Click the play button below to give it a listen.
