I’m out with my wife tonight for some post-baby clothes shopping. She went back to work last Wednesday so tonight is about hooking her up with work clothes. Isn’t she the cutest?
Whenever a child is born, everyone tries to find the similarities between that child and their parents.
“He has your eyes.”
“She has your chin.”
One of the immediate things I noticed about Jack when he was born was how much he looked like his sister when she was a baby.
Here are a couple of examples.

It was a rather uneventful experience until Jack decided to express his displeasure at the bathing experience by pooping on his mother. The 4 year old thought that was pretty funny. Here’s the boy all cleaned up.
For the next few weeks, this is it! Life is pretty grand!
Let me first say how much we appreciate the many comments that have been left here by family and friends as well as those who were able to stop by the hospital to see our little boy. It’s been a crazy couple of days. I was just about to begin the process of getting ready for Jack. We’d made some plans, but overall we were pretty unprepared.
We finally got home today [Thursday] about mid-afternoon. Jack is actually whimpering a little bit as he wakes up from his afternoon nap in the other room. Stephanie is doing great and all Jack’s tests came back great. I’ve added some more pictures here. Below are some of my favorites and the link at the bottom is to the full gallery of pictures we’ve taken over the past few days. The photos which I had previously posted were all from my iPhone. We didn’t even make it into the delivery room with our regular camera!
Again, thanks for sharing this incredible moment with us. As I take a few weeks off to be home with Stephanie and Anna, I’m sure I will have much more to share!
